UC3M Aerospace Engineering Department at Madrid es Ciencia Fair 2024

The Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) made a presence at the 13th Madrid es Ciencia Fair, held on Thursday, March 7th, at Hall 5 of IFEMA. While showcasing a wide array of scientific outreach activities, UC3M’s Aerospace Engineering Department stood out prominently, demonstrating its pioneering research and development efforts.

Among the highlights was the presentation of the E-CONTRAIL project (GA101114795), led by researchers Manuel Soler Arnedo, Raúl Quibén Figueroa, Bun-Kim San, María Cerezo and Adrián Zarzoso. This project, focused on the impact of aircraft contrails on climate change, offered visitors an immersive workshop experience. Participants engaged in hands-on experiments, exploring the complex dynamics between contrails and atmospheric conditions.
