The Department of Aerospace Engineering will host the wind tunnel testing

The Department of Aerospace Engineering at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid will host the final act of the Win the Wind Challenge 2025, organized by the association GreenTech Students, Win the Wind is an exciting competition aimed at promoting innovation in renewable energy technologies.

The Win the Wind Challenge invites university students to design original horizontal-axis wind turbines using their preferred 3D modeling software. Once submitted, selected designs will be 3D printed by the organizers and tested in the wind tunnel of the Department. The winning team may even have the opportunity to represent UC3M at the International Small Wind Turbine Contest (ISWTC).
