April 4th: AWE Systems Exhibition at UC3M Leganés Campus – Explore the Future of Renewable Energy
3 Abr🌬️ Join us this Thursday, April 4th, from 10:00 to 14:00 for an exciting exhibition of Airborne Wind Energy (AWE) systems in the central courtyard of UC3M’s Leganés Campus. AWE systems are wind machines that harness the power of kites and giant wings to generate electrical energy from the wind.
We’ll be showcasing the 40 m2 kite developed by the Dutch start-up Kitepower, along with the prototype AWE machine being developed by UC3M and CT Ingenieros. This event offers a unique opportunity to learn about AWE systems, their functionality, and how they can contribute to increasing renewable energy production.
Come and meet members of UC3M’s AWE systems research group, led by professors David Santos and Gonzalo Sánchez Arriaga, as well as Kristian Petrick (Secretary General of Airborne Wind Europe) and Agustín Arjonillla (CT Ingenieros ).
Don’t miss out on this chance to explore the future of renewable energy!
