Three Postdoctoral Researcher Positions within the María de Maeztu Unit of Excellence

The Department of Aerospace Engineering at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) invites expressions of interest for three postdoctoral researcher positions funded through its María de Maeztu Unit of Excellence programme, awarded by the Spanish State Research Agency (AEI).

These positions, funded within the strategic program of the Unit of Excellence, are designed to provide researchers with the time, resources and institutional support needed to consolidate an independent research career within an internationally oriented environment of research excellence.

The call is open to researchers in all areas of Aerospace Engineering. We particularly welcome candidates whose research can complement and strengthen the Department’s current activities, as well as researchers bringing ambitious new directions.

Successful candidates will be expected to develop a competitive research programme, contribute to external funding proposals, publish in leading peer-reviewed journals and participate in the supervision of MSc and PhD researchers.

Contract duration: 3.5 years
Gross salary: €40,000–€45,000 per year

The positions also include a research start-up package of up to €8,000 per year to cover expenses such as equipment, travel, consumables and open-access publication.
