Call for Expressions of Interest – ATRAE 2026 Talent Program in Aerospace Engineering

The Department of Aerospace Engineering invites expressions of interest from outstanding researchers in all areas of Aerospace Engineering to support their applications to the prestigious ATRAE 2026 talent attraction program (Spanish State Research Agency).

We are seeking motivated candidates interested in joining our vibrant research environment and contributing to cutting-edge developments in aerospace science and engineering. Information on existing research teams of the department is available here: https://aero.uc3m.es/research-areas/

We are welcoming applications in all areas of aerospace engineering, either in synergy with existing groups or complementing our research portfolio opening new areas.

This program is targeted at consolidated researchers of recognized international prestige (e.g., in the top 10% of their field globally, active ERC grant holders, or holding the highest academic rank in their country of origin) who have recently developed a relevant period of their professional activity abroad.

Deadline: June 4th, 2026 at 14:00 (Peninsular Spanish time).
