UC3M Aerospace Department Releases Educational Water Rocket Tutorial for Schools

Building a water rocket is one of the most popular and engaging outreach activities carried out by the Aerospace Engineering Department at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M). This hands-on workshop introduces students to fundamental aerospace concepts through creativity, experimentation, and fun.

As part of the 84th Madrid Book Fair, Professor Manuel Soler, from the Aircraft Operations Lab at UC3M, has prepared a complete video tutorial designed to guide educators, families, and schools through the activity step by step. The workshop can be enriched with the children’s book “La Astropatrulla Basurilla”, which helps strengthen both literary and STEAM skills in educational environments.
