Astrodynamics is a living field of research, contrary to what it may seem at first glance. In recent decades, the community working in this area has faced challenges such as the design of new missions with low thrust propulsion systems, the evolution and management of space debris or the behavior of electrodynamic tethers in space. In all these challenges, Prof. Jesús Peláez has played a significant role. Throughout his career he has contributed with his work to a better understanding of the problems to be addressed and the search for solutions to these challenges. In this workshop, we take a brief tour of the contributions of Prof. Jesús Peláez with the help of collaborators and disciples. The workshop can be attended in-person and online
