Science and Innovation Week 2023

The Carlos III University of Madrid (UC3M) has organized a program of science dissemination activities as part of Science and Innovation Week 2023, an event taking place from November 6 to November 19, 2023. The Department of Aerospace Engineering is taking part in the event by proposing the following activities:

Aprende a volar con aviones de papel
  • Place: 4.0.E03. Campus de Leganés de la UC3M Avda. de la Universidad, 30, Leganés
  • Opening hours: Friday, the 10th, from 18:00 to 19:30.
  • Speakers:

  • Description of the activity:
    Participate in a fun competition! In this workshop, you will learn, while playing, the fundamentals of flight mechanics behind a successful paper airplane.

    Our bodies are constantly penetrated by particles from space. In this workshop, we will discover these ‘cosmic rays’ and their characteristics using a cloud chamber.
