The Universidad Carlos III de Madrid it will be hosting the 10th International Airborne Wind Energy Conference (AWEC 2024). Following the success of previous conferences in Chico, Stanford, Leuven, Hampton, Berlin, Delft, Freiburg, Glasgow, and Milan, this landmark event will take place at the UC3M’s Campus Puerta de Toledo.
AWEC, which first took flight in 2009, was conceived with the goal of bringing together leading scientists, researchers, and entrepreneurs in the burgeoning field of airborne wind energy. Over the years, it has evolved into the premier platform for these experts to present their latest research findings, achievements, and innovations through slide and poster presentations and engaging panel discussions. Since 2019, AWEC has been organized in collaboration with the European Academy of Wind Energy (EAWE), Airborne Wind Europe, and Delft University of Technology.
🚨 The #AirborneWindEnergy Conference, the flagship event of #AWE, will bring together experts from academia and the #AWE industry to exchange ideas and showcase the latest developments from their research endeavors during the three days of the conference.
